Ok, so I just got one of these and was experimenting with effects. What I did was slowly move into an object while zooming a bit. Anyone else have any cool effects they could post

Zooming with a fisheye on is one of the ugliest and most unprofessional looking things you can do. You put a fisheye on to widen your shot greatly and add barrel distortion, zooming through the distortion looks disgusting, use a wide angle lens if you plan on zooming.

Related to what you were doing... with the fisheye removed, zoom in on an object, than start walking twoards the object while zooming out, you need a decent background that i am having trouble describing in words for this though, so im gonna youtube for an example. It is trippy as fuck.

Here, this shit wigs me out. I tried to do it a few times on a scooter but its too unstable, need a dolly.

Something to move your camera on. It could be a tripod with wheels or a track dolly.

Perfectly smooth moving shots. There is also cranes, which are fucking amazing.

These things give you absolutely amazing footage and so much control over the camera. I used one in a studio once and it was so amazing.

A good transition effect is to swipe the camera close to the ground so you only see cement after a trick in one clip and before a trick in other. Then on the editor use a short regular fade and it looks like two clips in one.

Also its really tight if you do it from day to night or vise versa if you can get the colors to match up.
