You guys saying no are stupid.
Mines rawed first of all, but there is no problem with spray painting it.
Just tape the insides and put some spare bolts in the bolt holes so they don't get messed up.

Edit: And yes, you have to raw it out first because it's anodized. I used a polishing wheel of a bench grinder to raw mine.

rawed. i left the proto thinger on there. my scoot is plosihed and purple. so ya the gold looked homo on it.

but this looks sick witht gold

wire wheel on a bench grinder. and a disc sander startd at 150 grit then 300 grit for the smooth look. then whiped it down with alchole. and anti seized the bolts.
