<part> review thread or something, read:

I got myself banned.
Maybe someone's tried this, or thought about it or something i d k. But i was thinking, random gay threads always keep coming up like, what do i buy, where do i buy this, what's the best for this, etc.

Now maybe we could have like one stickied thread of everything, reviews from all different people, and a place to buy them. we have a wheel review thread, why not have it for grips, headsets, bars (like how people feel about shorter, wider, bolted, one pieces, buffs, etc), i d k anything else we could think of. but this always comes up and i think we could do something to change that

and for people who want to fill something out, here use this:

Good idea Chris. So let me contribute:

REPLACE STOCK GRIP IMMEDIATELY. IT SUCKS.
No seriously, almost anything is better, I have FKD and it's awesome compared to stock.

-slowness. They are harder than normal yaks and stock wheels, therefore they should technically be faster, but they're not. I'm going to be experimenting with this soon because I think it has to do with the core of the wheel and how the bearings don't fit in tight. I'll edit this later if i figure it out

-any hardness below 78A will chunk/break.

Green Machines
+ solid
+ no noise
+ smooth
+last a long time

-plastic core
-little chunks come off

STOCK RAZOR WHEELS
:
+ Better than worn down or broken wheels
- Weak cores

YAK 100mm WHEELS:
+ faster than stock 14 spokes.
+ they dont put as much stress on core since they are smaller.
+ solid.
+ durable.
+ light.
+ is an excellent back wheel.
+ cheap.

+/- may not be the fastest, but I personally feel that they are faster than 110mm (because they are more solid) but i'm sure that people will disagree with me. (Madis)

- they will come off the core if they get hot
- the urethyne can split easily if you do alot of tiretaps/manuals.

YAK 110mm WHEELS:
+ Faster.
+ Smoother.
+ Durable.

+/- Good if you like soft grippy wheels BUT the larger diameter allows them to flex a lot more which gives them a "bending/wobbling/unstable" feel when landing bir airs or carving with lots of side load.

- Hubs will crack if landing crooked.

YAK 125mm WHEELS:
+ Super fast.
+ rolls over everything (makes a pretty damn good front wheel too)
+ solid
+ smooth
+ durable
+ fits on Micro decks with no problem.
+ makes an excellent street cruising wheel and for people who love speeding and bombing bowls, skateparks and hills.

- heavy
- fits on Razor decks without a brake.
- solid forks for 125mm wheels are hard to find.

LOW PROFILE 110mm WHEELS:
+ sweet colors?
-slow
-cores break real easy, and whats worse is they smash and you fall, not just a few spokes crack.

DRIVE 110mm WHEEL
S:
+ Fastest.
+ Smoothest.
+ Makes an excellent front wheel.
+ Higher ground clearance.

- NOT necessarily the strongest.
- Can de-hub if used in the back. The longer you ride your wheels the harder the Urethayne will get so the trick to riding Drive wheels in the back is wearing them in as a front wheel until they harden then switching them to the back. If you do not do this you risk ruining brand new wheels. This trick goes for most other wheels as well.
- Like all other wheels try not to land sideways when doing tricks.

Micro Metal Cores (100mm full metal core):
+ Last you awhile
+ Fast
+ Smooth
+ No de-hubing problems
+ Don't get flat spots too easy

+/- Harder, makes them last longer but you also slide easier on some surfaces

- Bearing space can get messed up if you don't put your bearing in properly, which results in bearings breaking or loud clicking noises
- After riding for months they get beat up and low from wear

Kryptonics 100mm 82A:
+/- soft but too soft, so the rubber will come off the hub or crack inside the rubber.

- too easy to brake them.

Supersonic Serial Winner Edition 100mm (yellow, 13 spokes):
+ solid
+ no noise
+ smooth

- like i've heard that the core cracks eventually?

Green Machines
+ solid
+ no noise
+ smooth
+last a long time
+very good front wheel

-plastic core
-little chunks come off
-terrible back wheel

Bones Reds Bearings
+very fast
+smooth
+makes no noise

-is there any?
