Why not get some flathead screws and counter sink them or whatever so they dont stick up, then grip over them. You wouldnt even know there there.
I wanted to do that but the metal was too thin. If I countersunk them, the hole would be bigger than the head of the screw and there would be nothing for the screws head to hold on to.

nice man, that looks soo similar to my deck, sick though, watch out though because that sheet metal is very sharp, and i cut my finger like a paper cut with it so yea watch for that, but great job.

Thanks, As soon as you posted up your deck, I was like ---! thats similar to my design. My next one is nothing like yours though.

--lillee--: I dont have access to a welder and you can replace a broken part instead of the whole deck if you break something.

thanks everyone.

I don't know what to think of this, I wouldn't use rectangular bars because their stiffness is much lower compared to metal tubes. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing just bent after some hard landings, but I might be wrong.

gooood luck....
Was that sarcastic...?

I rode the deck today on some ramps. It feels atot better than a pro model (to me) because it is a half inch wider. I feels a little weird though because I accidently made the bars leaning back a little more than I am used to. I really happy with the weight though because I can still double tailwhip off this one ledge i could barely get on my pro. I wouldnt mind having a heavier scooter because I like it heavy. My next deck is going to be heavier but way more rigid and strong. Also it wont have any sharp edges sticking out.

i actually think this deck is pretty sweet. its not overkill, and its pretty basic. i think if you weld the deck and the dropouts/bar things on the bottom together, itll be better. but leave the foldy rails boltable, so you can replace them and sh!t. also, i think if you make the actual deck park a bit thicker, it'll be better.
