i know there are alot of these, but im pretty serious about it. i came up with a deck design that eliminates a foldy, you would just bolt the head tube directly to the deck. i dont rlly want to talk about the design until i have built it and perfected the design, then i might paten it. but im gonna get the materials tomorrow and hopefully build it thursday. then i will test it and have it tested. if it holds up, id like to sell it, but first i wanna make shure its a good product. what i was wondering, is who would be interested, if i decide to sell it, i dont want to invest my time and money until i know that people are interested in it. well when i build it, ill post pics.

Doesn't andrew's deck eliminate the foldy?
From pictures ive seen he has the headtube welded straight on to the deck.
But it still sounds like a good idea and if its going to be good then, go for it.

id buy it for the materials and pay for shipping if you want me to test it.. im in PA like 2 hours from the border of new york so shipping would be fast and cheap....i jump stairs alot in the summer and when its nice.. but i have a few ramps on my porch and a bunch of stuff to stall and stuff... and i have a skatepark in my dads basement....not a fully sized skatepark i just clal it that...its like 50ft by 50ft though...and i have launch rams so i could test...id love to test them for you

well home depot didnt have all the right size parts, so im gonna have to order them on online metals, so its gonna be a lil while before i get the parts for a prototype. ya there are people who weld the head tube to the deck but i cant supply head tubes and have them welded, and im sure that most people that will be buying wont want to go out and have it welded. so i wanna make a deck where you just bolt the head tube on.

wouldnt it have a similar result as the new a's where teh foldy is bolted on and just ripped the front out of the deck unless u made it out of steel or chromoly then it would weigh a tonne so i dont see how it is going to work that well

no,my design has has it bolted to side of the deck not the to the top, i cant explain it all in words, so youll just have to wait for pics to understand it.
