i used to ride BMX before i started to scoot, so i kknow all the bmxers and most of the skaters. They usually just tell me to forget that scooter shit and pick up a bike again.

some (female) teacher at my school skates. im srsly going to regret the day when i see her haha.

eh most of the ppople at my school are pretty cool with it, %90 of the guys at my school have seen me ride, so ye. theres a few riders @ my school too so eh.

most kids know me as like the kid that scooters.... notreally by ability or anthing.... im just basically the only one haha.

at my school everyone knows i scoot and they always bug me at the park and stuff. also a bunch of randoms ive never met before are like oh yeah i know you your heaps good lol and half the skaters at my school are like " go back to skating" lol

yer same thing kinda happend 2 me, but it wasnt through a vid, i went to this park 1s that was just built n it was right next to another skool n the day after i ride ther every1 in that skool was like woooow ur that kid on the scooter arnt u??!!?! was pritty funny, iv now bin recognised in the street by like 10 ppl iv neva met haha

i don't really tell anyone I ride because I get a lot of crap from everyone already haha. My friends are a little weird about it but they're cool.

basicaly my friends are the skaters, so there cool about it. there are no bmxers in wells lol. ya me and wasp93 are known as the scooter kids.

No, not anymore. I know that at least 3 dudes ride scooters in St.Petersburg, about 8 in Moscow, 1 or 2 in Novosibirsk and like 3 or 4 riders in other cities. So... 16-20 riders for the the biggest country in the world XD
That is weird because everyone here likes scooter riding and considers it as a spectacular and solid sport.
PS ANd all these people started to ride only this summer, so their level of riding is very basic :\
PPS. Ah yes!!! We have Stanislav Smirnoff! And Serjey Noga. THey are pretty good I suppose =]

well only my friends n 1 other person at my school no i ride a scoot i dnt really mind they seem generally interested in how i got into it and what can i do etc...

i used to ride all private and i got shit, but now im open about it and nobody really cares, i ride all the time with bmxers and they started picking up scootering, now there is about 10+ people i know who scooter. and i know alot of skaters too and there cool as well....

i use to get a lot of shit for scootering. it took me a year before i even went to my local park daily. but now im really well known for doing it in my town and im open about it. no one really cares anymore but there are a few that think im "gay" for doing it. i find it funny when they try to diss me and say im gay for scootering ha. now im chill with every skater in my town and the bmxers give me some respect and i give them the same respect so we all get along. usually when people laugh at me when i say i scooter or when they see me on my scooter ill just do something and all the sudden there my best friend. it seems to me the people who say scootering is gay are the ones that always end up asking you if they can ride your scooter.

its sad that everyone just thinks of scootering as some gay thing that little kids use to get around. wouldnt the world be nice if everyone understood the sport for what it rlly is?
