WORLD FUCKING SERIES.
last night after they clinched the pennant was one of the craziest nights of my life. every single car that went down the street was honking and screaming out the window.
then i hear that a bunch of kids are walking down to city hall to celebrate, so i bike down, and there's at least 1000 college kids from all the schools around philly just converging together. the second i saw everyone i though "riot, finally..."
we shut down the streets, kids were climbing everything in site, chanting the whole time. cars were trying to get through the mob of kids, but no one seemed to car that traffic was stopped so everyone was hanging out their windows chanting along.
eventually the police got pissed, brought out the billy clubs and mace and tried breaking it up. that just got everyone rowdier and if it wasnt for some mace a cop car wouldve been tipped over.
this was only 4 hours ago and now i'm up on my way to work, so my mind is still blown.
