phoenix deck..

I got myself banned.
i could either get this, keep using and breaking pro modles, get a rup which is too light for my tastes, or get a tsi which is too heavy. or wait for a district while i could be shredding. i chose this.

district decks are orgasmic i love the one i got to ride. Just wait people new decks are going to be coming out in the near future.

sick so do u use a stock brake or does it come with one?. but tony hit me up on aim im going to htown saterday im going to 4-7 kid im mad hyped

I love mine, head-tube angle is beautiful, and it feels so solid, i got my dubs flat back in like five minutes, i got a 4.5 and it is definitely the thing to get, much more room and it doesn't affect pretty much anything.

enjoy your 5050s ..

get pegs... takes 5 minutes of grinding the deck down and then put ur pegs on and ur set...

anyway, i got my phoenix today and set it up... best deck ive ever ridden. i have ridden twan's before but now more than ever its the best deck IMO. i had a couple tiny problems with setting up, however:
- setting up the brake was tough even for my dad, but we got it after a while.
- the headtube is about 3/8" taller than a pro headtube, so my SCS bolt didnt reach far enough to thread into the starnut mounted in my fork. all i did was tightened the 2 bottom bolts of my SCS and its fine for now... my dad and i are going to get a longer bolt so it gets rid of the little play in the headset.

even with that little play, this scooter is THE MOST dddiiiaaallllleedddd scooter ive ever owned, smoothest, and strongest. while still maintaining a weight of 7-7.5 lbs.

truly amazing, 9.5/10. it would be perfect if those little issues didnt come up, and even with them, im thinking it is actually a perfect 10. you have to get one of these decks, they rock. MERRY CHRISTMAS SR! <3

1 lbs = 16 oz for those who dont know...
PRO MODEL HEADTUBE WEIGHT = ABOUT 8 OZ (half of a pound)

lucky 4" is 2 lbs 14 oz. THEN YOU ADD THE PRO MODEL HEADTUBE WEIGHT.

lucky 4.5" is 3 lbs 3 oz. THEN YOU ADD THE PRO MODEL HEADTUBE WEIGHT.

lucky 4" WITH HEADTUBE is about 3 lbs 6 oz, so almost 3.5 lbs.

lucky 4.5" WITH HEADTUBE is about 3 lbs 11 oz, so the same as a TSI 4.5"

phoenix deck 4.5" (all one piece) is 3 lbs. it is much lighter, so u are wrong about that.

phoenix deck 4" is about 2 lbs 14-15 oz, so actually the same weight as a pro or 1 oz lighter!

phoenix's are better IMO and in most people's opinions THAT HAVE RIDDEN ONE.

and to the post below you, you wont break a headtube, i dont think. i used to think that, but pro headtubes are extremely strong, you would be more likely to break the deck. phoenix will last you longer and is lighter.

btw, this is all IMO, EXCEPT FOR THE WEIGHT SECTION OF MY POST.

hope this helps,

Tanner!
