im liking the sound of the built in starnut, but can you still use ICS on it?

If I understand their design correctly, yes they should be compatible with ICS if they drill out the threads in the built in starnut.

Not sure why you would say that since clamps are all aluminum and the threads hold up fine. The starnut is only used to set your headset adjustment. They don't need to be torqued on.

theres way more stress (and different forces) put on the threads of a starnut/fork than there is on a clamp.

good thing that other companies are starting to use the built in starnut design that was originally designed by Quebec Scooters for our QCS one piece forks.

It's pretty much the best, most polyvalent design for threadless scooter forks.

That starnut design has been out before QCS even existed, and you sound like a fucking telemarketer.

I got myself banned.

lmao. "Thank you for using the qcs built in starnut, we will now patch you over to assembly."

but yea, if the bolt is big enough and the threads go all the way down, it would be sick.

Off topic. And yeah, i'm not a fan of built-in starnuts. I'm liking the scorcher internal lip better, because you can tighten the shit out of that ------- and it wont pop out.

This was not sarcasm. I was only pointing out that QCS forks were the only ones on
the current market with that caracteristic before these prototype phoenix forks.
Rad forks are no longer available so I hadn't counted them as beign on the market right now.

I was hoping more companies would use this design since it is a very simple and polyvalent design, and it can very well become a standard for all future scooter forks.
