Well, one of the managers came up to me and basically said "Hey, i see a lot of scooter riders in here and was thinking, do you think we could have a scooter comp here?" I said yes we probably could. There is no set date, as the idea is basically just in the air now. We have no idea of how much admission would cost, or anything of the sort.
No idea on sponsors either. It's an indoor park (duh) so no permit needed, but I have no idea on how to organize sponsors/other stuff. So blah. Anyone who thinks you could hook up the comp with prizes/stuff/etc, just let me know i suppose. If anyone would help with setting up sponsors for the park, ANY help will be gladly accepted.
Who would be interested in a comp at hackettstown skate park?
Simply post here with your opinions, if you can go, etc.
My thoughts:
I'll probably try to get a standard comp going.
Beginner
Intermediate
Expert
With best trick too. Probably an option as opposed to a separate running. Like you can just have runs, or you can have runs and a best trick.
I'd be a judge, more than likely.
