Conor's design up there is sooo nice. I loved that one. Rob, I like how you seperated stuff, but to me the "Inside" part of the "Inside Scooter Magazine" looked too light on a white background.

your designs look a little plain, but you got the right idea.

make it look like something you would want to buy and look at, and look at what you could do to it to make it better without overdoing it.

eh John, is this what your looking for?

lose the border, it looks like a national geographic magazine haha.

and like in your old ones, if you are using shadows like that, clean them up if you are going to use them, if they dont look right maybe try to add a blur to them to make it look better behind the main font.

and if your going for simple, its pretty hard to make it look good anyways because a simple mag could be sick as fuck or look shitty just by where one bit of text is.

so even though its supossed to look really laid back, you need to spend time and look it over, then look it over again just to make sure it all goes together nicely.

Yeah this photographer thingy, why 8mp? 6mp is big enough for A4.
Id happily do something for photography

i am used to using 8MP mainly for the size increase of the pic. it stays together well with most of the programs i use, and its pretty flexible.

i can use 6MP, but it had bettter be a good pic or its not worth the effort.

Where i draw the line is at 4MP, any lower it just looks like complete shit.

so by all means.. if you are confident that you are a skilled photographer and have a 6MP cam go ahead, i just prefer 8MP + for the ease of it in my work, and i wont hold it against you haha
