yeah so, i actually interned for time magazine; [all of 2 days] the photo dept and partiallly the layout people
and my mom worked at Newsday for 10 years.
and the whole damn thing is such a complicated process.
like for writing its the writers [duh] the editor.
photographers their editors
the people who keep the nonsense on file
the guys who make sure the sizes and stuff are right after the layout person is done.
the layout person
the graphic designers
the web designer.
the editors for that
the people who type the stuff in.
the planning shit.
the librarians
the head of depts.
5 million other jobs.
its so OD
not that you need that many people for this but yeah.
i say buy a SWINDLE and work off their format.
its exciting... although it costs like 10 bucks an issue.
and they use aaaaa looooot of color.
