[poll] Interchangable hubs?

there should be a wheel with the PU stuck to a thin piece of metal that clicks into place on another piece of metal where the bearings go. if the wheel dehubs, get the outside part. if it ovalizes, get the inside part.

ahh the drawing got out. Oh well. Yea, I've been dreaming of getting this made for ages but the quote I got from a machine shop was over $1000 for just ONE WHEEL. That's the cost of tooling, designing, Materials, Labor, etc.

hahah I also had that IDea for ages ago, also made a concept an recently talked to marcel too,..

new Hubs cost the same than just a part of the hub, cause the most expensieve part of the Wheel is the Pu und the work marcel has to make them

SO the only reason for making such Wheels would be to make extreme expensieve hubs, which no one would buy

Theres skate board company who'd done the same thing except the hub screwd into the other hub and used 3 bearings

id like to see how it turns out, id recommend that you put slots for the nuts to go in so that you dont need to use a spanner, it should also make them look nicer.
