Its not that easy. I don't know exactly how they did it in yeah right, but if you paint your scooter all green and use green transparency settings in your editing program, the green scooter will disappear and there will just be black where ever the scooter is.Tommy Tran said:guys, guys, guys.
The skate vid was awesome and unique. They edited it by painting the boards AAAALLLL GREEN. Like a green screen. They showed you in this one vid.
That means we have to get every part of the scooter green with like rad bars, green grips, wheels, deck. It would be kinda weird because once people do tailwhips...cant see it.
Oh, well im not saying its easy. i'm saying its gonna be hard to edit and film. It might take a while and a lot of equipment but it MIGHT work.Brian Boston said:Its not that easy. If you want to do it correctly, you CANNOT move the camera. If the clip is going to be 5 seconds, you need to film 5 seconds of your shot, with nothing in it you don't want in there. Than you film your green scooter trick. Plop the blank shot on layer 1 and put the green scoot clip on layer 2 and use green screen settings so the scooter disappears and it will work.
If your filming something where the camera is moving, i have no idea how you would pull that off properly without frame by frame image editing. You would probably need a camera on a motorized dolly, track, and alot of time on your hands to pull it off right. Ty Evan's made the Girl video, hes fucking crazy.
edit: Oh Jesse's clip was edited frame by frame in photoshop, that makes it alot of easer to do but you need some patients, you need to edit the scooter out of every frame of your video. He was going to edit a whole bunch of those and we were going to use them for the Trick You Can't Do video into, but we didn't finish the video.
