Okay, before I was saved I used to a complete prinkk to anyone, I talked a bunch of crap, I didn't give a crap about anyone, I cussed, smoked, drank, disrespected a lot of people I shouldn't of, I had addiction to smoking, I tired quitting smoking before I was christian but I always gave in and smoked. But after I prayed to God asking for forgiveness and did the whole sinners prayer and was saved, God's helped me change my way of life, I don't make fun of people, I don't talk crap anymore, I care for everyone, I don't cuss, stopped drinking, respect people, and God took away my addiction to smoking. That's how I've changed. and I know a few people with gnarly testimony's and if you ever want to hear them let me know and they can post them on here

listen im not trying to be a dick here at all so dont take this the wrong way but it sounds like one of the following

youre making up a 'god' as a way of moving on from your old habits because you still can't prove that there is a god, and trust me my mom is just like you she was saved and everything, but she still can't prove to me that there is a god and all she says is you need to have faith which doesnt mean anything to me because there is no concrete proof.

or the second thing is (still dont take offense to this im just trying to be logical)
it seems like you have a really affectionate relationship with dane, im not saying like boyfriend girlfriend kinda deal but you know what i mean, youre passionate about him and his conversion story, so you might be doing this just because danes doing it, which i doubt because you keep denying it, but it might be true who knows

I see what your saying about the thing with you and your mom, and I understand that you want proof that there's a God. And honestly I haven't been a Christian long enough to give you proof because i'm not "rooted" yet, you can say.


The Dane thing, I've looked up to Dane has a photographer for years, but not a person and I didn't want to have anything to do with him because the was he treated people back then. I didn't turn Christian because Dane turned Christian, I did it for myself, because I wanted to see if it was true and if it could make me happy because before I turned Christian, I wasn't happy at all, I never really felt true happiness before I was Christian. And I don't have feelings for Dane either lol. I consider Dane, Zac, the KKSM guys and pretty much all my Christian skater friends my family.

like you said before you found god you couldnt quit smoking or whatever else you said, but when you found him you did it.

i think that you put the idea of a higher power who can help you in your mind and you were able to acheieve it because that's the power of the brain

Yeah I get what your saying. I agree with you saying that it's the power of the brain. But I still believe God had something to do with it.

I believe now that people Believe what they want to believe and if it makes them happy then cool. Believing in God makes me happy.

I forgot to post this in my other reply but another reason why I believe in God is because they way I think he places people in their lives, like I believe God places certain people in people's lives for them to grow closer to God or to be Saved, like with me God places Dane and Zac in my life, to help me grow closer to him.
