My current scooter (A "new" A) is starting to sort of fall apart. The main problem is that the bearing in the rear wheel keeps on spinning out of the wheel when I am riding. Also, the head where it connects to the folding mech assembly is loose. The handle bar grips are pretty worn out too. Also, my scooter is extremely slow and I would like to have more speed. All of these I can ride with just fine except for the bearing problem. My question to you is: Should I buy one of the new pro models, or should I just replace the bearings/wheels?

Yeah I remember (seeing) that! Anyway, I'd really take any excuse to buy a new one, but if you are acustomed to your scooter then you might just wanna have it fixed. If you wanna Increase speed I say you should get a Speed Axle from Micro, but that might be too much.

"bearing in the rear wheel keeps on spinning out of the wheel when I am riding" - WTF??? There must be either something going that I cant imagine or you must be really stupid and not use rear wheel spacers. But hey, youre Ryan V.

"the head where it connects to the folding mech assembly is loose" - You have been on the scene for like 5 years and yet, you havent heard of such a basic modification as bolting the folding mechanism. There are no words that would be suitable to comment that.

I dont think that anyone would have problems with deciding between riding a new a and buying a pro model. But hey, youre Ryan V...

Looks like ryans ban is up...

Im not ganna say anything else because Pete summed it up nicley. Just get a Pro and try not to be retarded...Which seems hopeless consitering you've been riding longer then I have and still havent bolted a folding mech?

I think I need to explain the folding mech a bit better. When I am riding, the head sort of jiggles around. The folding apparatus is already bolted to the deck of the scooter. Its the head that jiggles around. Anyways I can still ride even with the head the way it is. I do have wheel spacers in the back but they are too loose. In any case if you think I should repair it, do you know of any place to get wheel spacers from?

Right after reading this I have started to wonder if you're a real person or a provocation, a big and clever forum swindle made by some unserious person like Addy or someone.

No, you were banned but I found kindness in my heart to remove it after a year so please try not to be too ridiculous this time around.

And, to answer your question: the "head thing" is called a headset and the "jiggling" means you need to tighten it and grease your bearings (assuming you already have the folding mech bolted).

The only thing that I can think of that is causing your rear wheel bearings to pop out is that you lost your original wheel spacers and used old bearing spacers instead which are too small. You can ask for some in the sell your stuff section but I wouldn't count on a good response but it is worth a try.

Your scooter can easily be fixed in about 10 minutes with a few tools and some common sense but if you want to start with a new scooter you could do that to.
