[poll] The International Scooter Riding Federation

Another idea thats not gonna happen, haha. But seriously, if someone knows the proper procedures he could establish it. The idea is to create a scooter federation. You might ask 'why'? The answer is: This would get us official. And being official might help in:
- Competition organization, an 'International Scooter Riding Federation delegate' would be more likely to get park owners to organize a comp than a group of kids.
- Gathering money from sponsors, various organizations that support sport, maybe there are even some governmental donations?
- Supporting comps, the promotion of scootering, video production, rider owned companies, magazines and poor scooter riders from middle/western Europe (lol, just kidding), etc.
- Maybe approving competitions (World Championchips, etc), making multi-competition standings, giving awards, etc.
- Possibly getting recognised a little bit more.

Tell me what you think about it. Another thing is that I dont really know how exactly does a federation work, but its all to work out or learn from other federations or something...

yea it sounds all good when you write it down.. and its a great idea.. but everyone knows that nothing really gets off the ground here, especially a worldwide scooter organisation..

if ther is enough volunteers and it all works out than it mite be akrite

ur ideas are good but ur thinking way to big, just give it time and it will grow, i hoenstly could nt care if it got any bigger im happy as it is now, theres good parts,comps,videos its all good

Anything of that sort would take great ammount of time and money, neither of which anyone on this site has or is willing to sacrifice.

let scooter evolve in its own way. I know what you imagine Pete because i also live in europe and try to make things bigger. But it's automatic . I think everybody realized how things changed since the old Sr period!

yea.. there is no point in having a federation unless scootering has become world wide and loads of people are riding them.. like if scootering was as big as skateboarding than it would be a good idea
