PLEASE READ BEFORE ANSWERING.

I've come to a conclusion long time ago that micro decks just need too much work and money to maintain them.

- i welded two pairs of plates to my foldy together, they've lasted for me since August and now they are starting to crack.
- i had to weld all the folding system because bolts didn't hold it solid enough = that means no changing broken neckplates, so if i should fuck up something, the whole deck will pretty much become unusable.
- my brake is snapped since september
- i had ovalized my headtube, which made me buy a whole new headset, which was pretty expensive and i had to order it from abroad, because there were no deep-stacked headsets available in Estonia nor in the Baltics. It was a pretty darn good investment though.
- my deck is bent back and bent kinda spiral way too a little. It's not really noticable until you observe it closer in every angle. That means i have to get new reinforcement pipes and somehow bent back the deck itself too.

And i have two brand new razor pro-models which are originally meant to be reselled.

What would YOU do in this situation?

#1.
- sell one of the pro-models for a local, keep the other one.
- weld the foldy (so i could keep the neck/bars all the way in front, more in front than it's possible with a regular bolt).
- switch the brake to a new-A brake since it's made of steel (pro's brake is made out of aluminium)
- buy some skate grinding rails since riding street will kill the deck faster.
- have some time to get some money to repair the micro deck later + make a custom-made brake for the micro. I'd still want to see how long i could maintain the micro deck till it will break completely.

#2.
- buy 2 pairs of new neck plates
- add them to the current plates and weld them all together (so the total would be 4 pairs of plates) and also weld the cracks.
- reinforce the foldy, by welding some pipes INTO the foldy, so it won't bend like Sean's: http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s102/e4j/micropoooo1.jpg
- buy new reinforcement pipes, bend the deck back and install the new pipes.
- make a custom-made CNC-machined brake, which will take some unknown amount of money. Ain't cheap, though.
- sell the two pro-models for locals like originally planned.

The poll results will not really affect what will i'll really do, but i'm just curious how people would act in this situation. If you choose one, give your own reason too why would you choose that way.

O RLY??? I knew that without even buying one, hahahaha.

Ride the pro model for a few months, then get a Heavy Metal Scooter.

I'd rather let mine made with CNC-machines.

Get a custom deck from pete pachota, or an sr deck from andrew. Pete pachot lives in poland so that would probbably be easier

You didn't get my idea, didn't you.

A prototype SR deck is gonna cost way more than my current setup costs total.
I could do Pete's design myself also even without bolting all the stuff, but that design is too bulky.
I'll rather make my own in future, but for now i'd ride what i have.

I wouldn't waste any more money on the Micro from the sounds of it.

I would, but not just now. But you mainly got the point.

I'm going with the pro, way easier to modify and take care of.
Tho i'm not sure what i'm gonna do with it, i'll either save some money and fix it entirely later some time, OR i'll just weld the cracks, get a 125mm fork and a new micro brake, maybe paint it and give it to a little relative who could cruise around her house, that way i'd find a use for some pro-model parts (e.g. bars) what i'll take off since i'm using aftermarket parts anyway. But nothing says that i've changed my mind entirely yet.

To me , Micros have a special thing in them. I like that special thing but I don't know how do I explain it. The money you spend on the Micro should be enough to do some crazy stuff to a pro model deck and you (Madis ) knows all the craziest stuff with modding so I think you should keep the money and mod up really well the pro model.
