Blue,

since you want White, just go to Home Depot/Lowes and buy some
White Epoxy Appliance spray paint. Follow the directions on the can for re-coat times and you'll have a durable finish and when they do chip, hit them again with a touch up coat.

The key to a good rattle can job is the time needed between coats because rattle can paint takes at least 24 hrs to cure- if you re-coat too soon the 1st coat doesn't fully cure and in some case you will end up with the Orange Peel effect.

so a car painting shop (like Aamco or wat ever) could do it for $10-$50?

Paint shops don't powder coat. Paint and powder coat are 100% different.

Honestly most places would charge you about $25 for a powder coat job, but if you can find a buddy who has a shop, you can often get it cheaper if you are willing to wait a few days for them to do someone elses job in the same color, and just do yours at the same time. Powder coating 1 item is a lot more expensive than getting 40 items powder coated.

So, best of luck.
