Pro Model Double clamp on new buffs

i just got in my buffs and threadless forks and was wonderin how to get on a double clamp? the hole seems too small even when i try and stretch it out with a flat head...

Try fileing out the inside of the clamp.

For your information, Buff clamps have lips at one side so it doesn't go further when the bottom edge of the steertube touches the edge of the clamp.

i know it has the edge obviously i was just wonderin because ive seen plenty of pics of buffs with doubles. i was just wondering how they got em on there cuz i already tried stretchin it

get a crowbar or a flathead screwdriver, remove the bolts off of the clamp, insert the crowbar or screwdriver into the slot of the clamp and try to bend it open. do that until it fits

File sand or dremel it out until it fits.

its better to stretch it than to file it, just use different tools

Just use a screw driver or something to stretch it out

do like the penny trick. take out ur bolts, put a penny over the hole with no threads, and thread the bolts back in backwards until the buffs fit in then take out the bolts and put them back in like normal
