"PRO" scooter riders

how many people consider themselves pro
i dont i dont even tell people im sponsored
what exactly do you have to do to be considered pro because i look on peoples myspaces and stuff and they say their a pro scooter rider when their pic is like a tailwhip off a 2 stair

theres tons of gay threads similar to this.

VVVV most of the time its just arguing about these 3 ideas VVVV

everyone has thier own opinions on it. you decide whats pro or not.

1 you cant be pro, unless you are currently making a living off of riding your scooter.
(riding for fun / getting paid to do it) vs. (riding because you like the money)

2 anyone can be pro if you are good.
(you worked your ass off and got good) vs. (you think youre hot shit so youre automatically pro)

3 youre only pro if someone else says you are.
(they might say it out of respect) vs. (everyone thinks youre good but you make it a big deal and then think youre hot shit)

pro is short for professional. so you cant be pro unless you make a living out of it. but what else would we call team razor and team micro? really good? i think im just going to call all of the really good people pros still. but i dont know where the borderline is for pro and amateur.

i think you should call yourself pro if you win the pro division in a competition, or win best trick. if you are sponsored by razor or micro, you should be considered pro. if you can do all of the shit that the people who ARE pro can do, you should be considered pro. as someone said waayy back, "you cant make a living off scootering" you seriously cant. so therefore, no one on here or in the world is pro if you judge by that. so, dont just judge by that.

You're pro if you are payed by a company to ride. It doesn't have to be a huge business like Razor, but it cant be your friend who pays you $10 to do a backflip for his little video. I don't care though if people call themselves pros if they are just as good or better than the guys with actual sponsors.

i would only consider people "pro" if they were on razor or micro
so you wouldn't consider BK pro? or Stevon Wilson, maybe even Matt Ogle?

I'd only consider people pro if they are either: A. Paid to ride, for a living. or B. Considered the best by most other riders.

Does Terry Price make a living? If not, then just people who are sponsored by a big team should be called pro. not the idiots on youtube who think they're hot shit since they can whip off a curb.

well i mean if you ride for razor and micro, then i consider you pro..people such as BK, nooner, stevon, matt ogle, etc. pro material or good enough to be pro...but thats just my state of mind
