"PRO" scooter riders

At my local scootering forum I was given a signature "almost PRO" as the best rider in Russia who is really close to start getting free scooter parts from some Moscow shops. In my opinion, it is needed when the rider reaches such level of riding that he cannot realize all his riding potential because he destroys scooters faster, than his parents/he earns for it.

But I usually act modest. Today it is not a reason to show off. Maybe later, when kickscooter will be more popular in my country... I don't really care: pro or amatuer is rider. It is nice if he rides awesome, if he feel comfortable with all the equipment, if he is doing it firstly FOR FUN, for pleasure, not for being a respectable hardcore professional worldwide superstar.

lmao

Heres my opinion. Everybody know who the "pros" are. The "best" riders. Most of the best do have sponsers. Why do they have sponsers? Because corporations see that people look up to and respect those riders so they "sponser" them so they can use their name to sell their product. Its funny that so many children want a sponser... I guess it does make you feel all special in your little hearts, hehe.
In the bmx and skate industry there are alot of undisputed pros that do not make a living off of their sport. The word "pro" does mean proffesion. But in small sports where there is not money it is just a title.
You know who the pros are. Don't take the one thing they have gained in their hours of scootering. Their title. It doesn't matter if they ride scooters just to be called pro or if they ride for fun, they are the best.

If you don't know if a person is pro or not then they probably are not.

k wouldnt it be a lil hard to live off of ur salary for riding for a company i mean u would be living pay check o pay check to keep wit rent and all that shit unless u bunk wit a roomate and personally i would not like to live check to check it would suck but as said before everyone has their oppinions

wow, john hit it on the nose. and i never really looked at it that way. since scootering technically isnt a profession, its cool to use pro as a title for the best and most respected. so basically youre pro if youve got sick vids and/or place well in pro comps, but no matter what you cant be pro without respect.
