Problem with mac

i have a macbook laptop, i recommend getting the pro because you cant even use final cut with the macbook, or at least i don't think so, if anyone has ever heard of this problem or has any solutions...post here

Saying you can't use final cut with a macbook dosn't give us much info.. whats the problem with it?

it does not have the right graphics card, i was just wondering if there was a way around this or something

I dont know much about computers or Mac's, but it sounds like you need a new graphics card. Kinda obvious, lol.

Assuming you have the onboard graphics card the laptop comes with, it dosn't meet final cuts specs. I cant help you much more than that, because one i have no idea how to upgrade a graphics card in a laptop and two i don't know if you can simply switch a graphics card out in a mac for another...

well reeves has the macbook pro ill ask him about it because he uses finalcut pro and stuff. Maybe he could give you some more info. Ill edit this post later when i ask him.

You should add professionals in there too. Theyre alot more stable than PC's.

dude....i just got a mac thats huge and sick....its even got digital tv on it !amazed lol

mac arent for gay macs are for de style

You can get the mighty mouse (i think thats the name), which has 2 buttons. You can run windows on them now too.

i got it working, all i did when the error message came up was hit escape and it worked, thanks for the tips anyway

I am planing on getting the same computer, just for my sake, you find any other problems with FCP on it or dose it run perfectly now?

Also, how much RAM do you have?

fcp works a little slow, but it does work, and i have 512 ram
