profit advertising

i need help in nowing what profit adverising is because madis was talking to me in saying that i could get banned i don know if it was about selling j bars in stuff because alot of people sell stuff soo please help me out because i dont want to get banned

selling bars and scooter parts is fine. just make sure it is in the sell your stuff section. you just cant advertise sites and companys if you are going to make money off of it.

Alright i'll make a run down.

Selling stuff on here is cool in the sell your stuff section, as long as you aren't like taking orders and stuff.

If your making bars, even if its like "hey im making 10 pairs of one piece bars name your width height..." doesn't fly, your mass producing bars and using the website to make your money.

If your advertising your website to sell parts doesn't fly either. Saying hey check out "TPC Scooters" to buy new metal cores isn't cool. Saying hey check out the new TPC site is straight...

get what I'm saying? If your trying to sell stuff either on the forum or indirectly by posting your site with the intention to sell stuff is profit advertising.

so if you have a "non profit" company like wee scooters where you just want to make and sell parts to help the sport and not make yourself money, can you advertise that here? because you not making extra "profit". or is madis just special because hes madis

I'm pretty sure you just need to ask for permission before advertising a company.

Anyone can sell stuff through a company and advertise on SR. They have to be legit, and it is required that they have PERMISSION from Andrew to do so. If you think you would be interested in selling things through the website, you need his permission, and thats it.
