ill test the wheels out on some street and shit and ill actaully see how much shit it can take.

lol 'scuse meh? that's my job there, buddy. =]

greg, dont call me buddy cause that sure as hell was not a nice ''buddy'' you didnt do much just kina pushed your way threw and got to test the wheels out.

proof one:

i never dehub wheels, plus i rode it in the front for a while. so its fine. and once i get a metalcore, im gonna be running metalcore bakc drive front. SEX on WHEEELS.
why the hell are you testing these wheels if you never dehub wheels?

i got threw wheels, i know whats up and how to test a wheel to its death and ill tell you wants wrong even if its a good real, i want there to be good wheels out there.

Ill make sure the wheels are Gnarly, Buddy

lol i was joking. and i break wheel spokes like crazy, but i dont dehub wheels.

i put an 'lol' and a '=]' in that so you would hopefully realize it was a joke and not take it the wrong way, but i guess it didnt work. =\

zak!!!

your a hero! this will be so much better than micro wheels

but one thing...just please dont have the metal core be centered in the middle like it is if you know what im talking about. the bearings dont have much support the way micro hubs are designed.. it would probably be best if the hubs were somewhat like yaks, just of aluminum instead of plastic.

so yea hopefully if yous can make them strong to begin with then we can have them quicker.

thank you

well eric, your my man, i semi understand the hole bearing consept but ovalizing is a bitch and the only way i could think of stopping that is making wheels like petes but i want to make a more "slim" wheel like micro's but better, make a picture of what a good idea would be for a core. deffinitly full rim core.

i need to talk to lee about the design because i think he had an idea for one but im unsure.

well, the full core is the simplest design, so it'd probably be the cheapest to cut. plus it's the strongest, and you wont have to worry about it ovalizing like the 3 spoke ones. and the Yak Scooter Tire wheels (or whatever they're called) if i remember correctly, break easily.

so that eliminates a 3 & 6 spoke design. a 13 spoke metal core wheels would probably be very expensive to make, due to all the cutting that would be needed for the hub, but it would probably really strong.

and drives dehub easily because there's no part of the hub that goes into the center of the wheel for extra hold (like stock razor wheels), the urethane just sits on a flat rim.

i think the best bet is just to go with the full core hub for strength, and make the part of the hub that holds the urethane somewhat similar to stock razor wheels, but without the little holes in them.

yeah he means like have more support on the bearings since full metalcores do ovalize which causes that damn clicking noise.
i would do a design but i don't have any programs on my computer because im running a shitty mac (i typed yak first haha)
with no paint or solid works or i would. i have it in my head like have more metal branching off from the bearings.

see from this angle how the bearing is hanging out over the rim? that needs to change.
more metal needs to be around the bearings for support which will aliminate ovalizing.

get to work eric!

i know. i checked out stevon wilson's metalcore and i was like "holy crap, the hub is so thin.."

so it should be thicker.

=] im a bright one.

but you need to create a picture for me to send to lee so he knows what im talking about.
like with arrows and discribing what we need.

thank you eric =]

haha well i think the 2d diagrams with dimentions would work because then we have all we need. but i think we should make a wheel the size of 105mm so it's right in the middle so everyone loves it. because 2 different wheels would just be harder.

damn i hate my life for getting a mac without digital art programs.

eric, do that whenever because we are in hardly a hurry but the sooner the better.
i need sleep im sick and i need all the sleep i can get.

i finally get to go to bed dreaming about somthing good for once =]

also, Zak you should find out what colors the urethane could come in. i think it'd be pretty cool to get some new colors like opaque purple, opaque lime green, and opaque yellow. none of that see-through urethane.. that stuff isn't as grippy.

maybe teeth inside the dip of where the urathane sit could help with the dehubbing
yea, i was thinking that too. plus itd give more surface area for the urethane to grip to.

iight then, well ill be going to sleep soon too. but im gonna start them diagrams in the morning.
