me dan and matt miller (biker of l-town) were interviewed today by a local news channel for our efforts in creating a county skatepark. itll be on the eleven o clock news tonight and we were extremely nervous but all went well and we had a good time with the journalist.

this also gave some exposure to the scootering community seeing as how they got many riding shots of us.

the reporters are thinking about making it national if/when we start construction.

and a little fun fact/side note, dan farted on tv lol

Haha, i wish. The townships main idea was to get both a golf course and skatepark because there is a lot of room. If donations are made maybe we could get the skatepark in a building, but i highly doubt it is'nt. The 6 people go to the Council meeting on the 14th and we give them an idea of what the park will look like.

ew nah man that 5 was bullshit, i got it clean first try practice then they went to tape and i couldnt get it right. nerves maybe?

idk i just hated everything i did cause i gotta be so god damn picky. idk why but i dont remember them putting in dans clips he got theyre gay for not putting in dans crazy scooter fakie combos.

its still going well, we were supposed to have a council meeting with the county board last thursday but the eldest member died so they canceled the meeting which will now be this thursday coming up.

we (dan, nick, and i) have a powerpoint presentation and speech for them on thursday, in which weve provided ample reason to allow us the lot. even some reason they cant deny, so as we see it were almost guaranteed the foundation. but that is our main goal at the moment--just to get the land and then well begin planning/construction after that.

and madis, your sketches are being used in the planning and presentation as well since i like the ramps alot, and the endless lines too :). i hope you dont mind which i didnt think you would seeing as how you posted them here.

NEW UPDATE!!!


today we had a council meeting at the county municipal center. the county commissioner attended as well as nbc10 news station (another interview on 11 o clock news tonight). dans step dad, mark, started off the meeting then matt, myself, dan and herman presented our powerpoint. the commission, this guy booby, and a few interested adults finished off our part of the meeting. in my opinion it was great, everything went though without a glitch. im just looking forward to seeing the news tonight.

and madis, i found out where i can get the video off the internet of the 11 o clock news so ill get that for you and ill probably post in on here so everyone can see. and possibly the entire meeting if i can.

i dont see how they can deny us that park now :) everything is flowing beautifully
