Buff said the Orion wasn't expensive to make. Why do they cost $250?

If Lucky can CNC a deck, which is the most expensive way to make decks, AND anodize it for about $170, then why would this cost any more? It should be cheaper, seeing as the deck is extruded, and it's not anodized.

it may just be because it just came out and as more people buy it the price may go down because there will be more production of it. Just my theory:/ i was shocked when i saw the price.

My friend's got the zero gravity deck, and my other friend has the Orion.

the zero gravity deck is a smaller, more flush, more solid deck, for the same price. I think orion is a little overpriced and bulky too..

So whyy is it so expensive?

In the long run it will be cheaper, this batch was just small. Keep in mind it includes a brake as well that will probably retail for $20 or so. And please keep Zero Gravity out of this thread, I do not want to talk about those decks.

proto is really over priced. i mean people say 140 is alot for a deck but 230? also i donnt like the headtube. id like it more if it didnt have the 90* angle on the bottom

There are three bolts to put it together? You can say you hate the looks of it but until you ride it you can't talk. This deck feels better than anything I've ridden, and most of the people who have ridden mine say the same.

What size? My Orion is better in almost every aspect than my TSI was.

Also just wondering for the orion, what are the individual costs of replacement headtubes and decks?

I'm not sure on the price exactly, but the decks are a lot cheaper than the headtubes. Decks are like $70 and headtubes are like $180. That's just a ballpark though.

I rode it and didnt like it but i only rode it for like 2 mins so who knows i could feel good if i got use to it.

It only has 3 bolts and a TSI has like 10, so wouldn't the TSI be more complicated?

And for me the Orion deck is really nice, just think its a bit pricey & the headtube is a tad bulky but it probably rides really nice and is super strong.
