It's not Protos fault that you don't know how to tighten a bolt right, and now you fucked yourself HA.

How often do you grease and maintain your SCS?
Probably not that often the way it sounds.

Drill a small hole through it and drill it out with an extractor drill piece.

or tighten all the other bolts first, and then start loosening that one just a LITTLE BIT. It happened to mine before.
You have to gradually loosen each bolt, not just take them out one at a time.

SCS is awesome if you know how to use it.

Alright well that's the only way I could get mine out. You need to cut it in half, use needle nose pliers to screw out one side and something really thin to push out the head.

You can try soaking it Oil.
Liquid Wrench works pretty good or WD-40

Just spray a ton on it so that it works its way down in to the Threads.

Once you get the bolt out make sure you lube the bolts:

Steel bolts in Aluminum need an Anti seize lube on them to keep them from binding up like what you have.

It actually helps with tightening- seems counter intuitive- but without the Lube the steel binds up in the softer Aluminum threads and doesn't allow the Bolt to fully tighten in the clamp and unfortunately most folks apply more Torque to the bolt and then you end up with a stuck bolt.

You can get White Lithium Grease just about anywhere for a couple bucks. One tube will probably last you a lifetime- doesn't take much.

Buy a vat of blue grease and dip the bolt threads in it before you put them back in the SCS.
I've owned two scs'. Trust me with this one.

I honestly don't get how people say SCS sucks. Mine is amazing. Hasn't come loose EVER. No bolts stripped, headset is tight. I take it apart like once every two weeks. It was BY FAR better than my old HIC

How often should I grease and maintain it? I've got baby scs if that makes a difference.

I say this about HIC as well. It all comes down to user error

Tom, I'd regrease the bolts and what not every time you take your SCS off.
