Im getting threadless forks, threadless headset, and threadless bars do i have to use a proto scs or can i just use stock compresion system?

stock compression is where you thread the nut onto the forks. unless your forks are threaded, you cannot use stock compression. you need either an scs, ics, or hic compression. go to the compression super thread to learn about each of these.

there are no threads in bars,it only gets the imprint from a threaded fork if you clamp it on one,i beleive.

Get ICS if you have your bars already. But if you haven't orderered your bars yet, get oversized (1 3/8) bars, then run HIC and be happy.
