not really, but its a good precaution on other wheels. my sliders have been ridden for 8 months and still fine

Nope, just take it easy the first week. Don't haul your ass down C-BAD gap or anything and think they'll be fine.

wearing in wheels doesnt do anything, the first day i bought eagles i rode all day park and street, and there the only ones ive had longer then a month without chunking. they still havent chunked MONTHS later either, r-dubya has them. so no youll be fine.

yeah i've had sliders for 3 weeks, i took it easy for the first 2 days, i think the only thing i hit was a small 5 stair, but then i started riding again, so yeah, ur fine

its actually quite ironic, the grippers slide on concrete and the sliders grip on concrete better than any other scooter wheel made when you wear them in

because you can slide on any wheel smartie pie, the grippers i had would slide if i turn too fast, felt like jelly

I love my sliders, had um for 2-3 months. Ive had 2 or 3 pairs of um.
I always get new wheels about every 4-6 months; (dont hate, i like riding fresh wheels).
