protos spining super slow

well i got my protos and broke some beaarings putting them in but i finally got them in .. so when i spin the wheel not on my scoot it spins decently but when i put it on my scoot it pretty much doesnt spin at all... i know how to put in bearings i use and axle and bearings spacers not a hammer

i had the same problem. so basically the bore of the hole is too small for the bearings so when you finally get the bearings in, the outer race gets compressed onto the ballbearings, and the balls get compressed to the inner race which is touching the axle, so the bearings dont spin. they just spin on the axle. confusing but true. i gave to a bike shop. removed, bored the hole out, put bearings in, voila i rode a bit and they got faster and faster. good luck! if you got any questions just PM me.

i still dont get it.. so when i ride it will be fine? like its not that slow when i ride but very slow when i spin

i had the same problem with my proto like 8 times until i eventually gave up on it

mine do this, i just got over it and ride them but its because you put both bearings in at the same time and it screws up the bearing slot. file down the bearing slot if theres a little ridge in there caused by putting them in at the same time.

ur bearing spacer is peob getting smashed. idk how but i just grinded down my bearing spacer and mine spun for a long time. try it. same thing was for me with my brown proto. untill it dehubbed lol

lmao yea i already dehubbed 2 and chunked one but it still think they are better than eagles... ill try to switch the spacers or maybe get the eagle spacers
