It does in the US. I was in gamestop yesterday. The xbox360 pro, just the system, is $300, wifi adapter is $100, and live is $50 for a year. PS3 is $300 for system, wifi and internet. Electronics are priced different overseas.

you don't have to buy the adaptor you can do wired which is way better then wireless. and they are not making the regular xboxs anymore they are only going to make the xbox elite and they are droping the prices of them.

Wireless comes standard with PS3. Not everyone can run a wire. Yeah wired is better, you get 50mbs faster speed that you will never notice. Wireless is so convenient. I can move the ps3 all over my house and not have to worry about having a ethernet cable there to play online. And yeah they are dropping the prices, but PS3 is still a way better deal.

i didn't pick up the slim, but we bought a bundle of the 80 gig fat PS3, 2 games and 2 controllers for 340. not bad.

Never said you didn't, but im saying you get it for PS3, its a huge feature, i don't have to spend money on cable, and run it to where im gonna play. I can just use the wifi, you'd have to spend $100 on it for the xbox. And hard drive upgrades on an xbox? Waste of money, i can put any notebook sata drive in my ps3, more space and cheaper price than a 360 hard drive.

New xbox? Got proof? The only thing coming out is natal. And you might need more than 120gb harddrive to install your games on if you wanna stop your xbox from trying to take off and start flying around the room, and not blow your TV speakers out since the thing is so god damn loud.

You consider a bigger hard drive+a bundle a new xbox? Come on, get real. Its gonna be $50-100 more for some extra space, a controller and game... not worth it still compared to ps3

I didn't once in this thread call the slim PS3 a new Playstation. Its a redesign. Why are you trying to battle anyways? I posted about PS3 slim and you come in here babbling about how much you like xbox better, why bother?

Exactly. Im just defending my point against xbox. I lean more towards the PS3, but i like both systems. I do believe, for your money, what you get when you buy a PS3 is a better deal than xbox putting quality of service and games aside, PS3 is a gaming system, blueray player, home media center, psp companion and linux machine (although i think linux is not supported on the slim) all in one out of the box. Xbox is gaming system and possibly a media center (i don't know much about xboxs with media and using a pc as a media server for them), and thats all that comes to mind, everything else you have to pay for.
