I have a 360, and the PS3 sounds very good indeed.
If i could have any console i wanted, I'd choose the ps3. I definately don't dislike either, however, I think the xbox 360 is ahead of the ps3 for the minute. PS3s are way too expensive in UK - Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?£350 for the console, Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?£50 for games, Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?£40 for bluray discs.
Xbox = Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?£200, games for xbox = Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?£20-40, but, The only real add-on I'd need is xbox live. Which, if I was to buy xbox + 2 games + xbox live wireless adapter + xbox live = Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?£380.
PS3 + 2 games = Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?£450.
you may need some add-ons for xbox, but it still comes to a smaller price than the PS3. Who, really, is going to need a bluray dvd player? Sure, the graphics of the DVD is enhanced, but the selection is limited, and you might as well play normal dvds for a fraction of the price on xbox 360, ps2, or dvd player.
The PS3 in my eyes, is an absolutely incredible step forward, but only as much as the 360 was, and still is. I'd choose a ps3 over the 360, but as I have a 360, i am not dis-heartened, or disappointed in anyway.
