Honestly, I have never done LSD because I am on an SSRI and combining the two could result in Serotonin Syndrome. But, I have read extensivley on the pharmacology, effects, etc of LSD.

1. You are going to want to find it from a RELIABLE source. As most "acid" nowadays is not LSD, rather some obscure research chemical.

2. Do not have shit to do for at least 12 hours.

3. Start with one hit. You can always take more, you can never take less.

4. It takes about an hour to kick it, so don't take another hit after 20 minutes because you're not feeling anything.

5. Possibly have a sober or very experienced (With LSD) sitter. And I assume you know what a sitter is because you have done shrooms before.

Last but not least, read up on Erowid. Any other questions just ask me, or Google... probably Google. Good luck, happy tripping!

EDIT: After posting this response, I realized I kind of jumped your question. "Handling yourself" on LSD is different for everyone. But I have read experiences and known people who have went to school or work while tripping on small doses of LSD and have been fine. LSD is mostly all in your head, as opposed to shrooms where you may experience nausea. One of the only physical symptoms of LSD is dilated pupils. Which may be hard to hide if you are around sober people. But I highly suggest researching and not just listen to me.

Also, if you are planning on tripping more than once, I would buy more than one blotter as buying a sheet or so is substantially cheaper than buying it by the hit.

Thanks. Would you think hiking would be good while on it? I don't really like civilization while I'm tripping, and I've had good experiences with mushies and nature.

If you don't like civilization when you're tripping, then by all means, stay away from it. Hiking would be fine if you had a sober sitter, because getting lost or hurt are two things that will ruin your experience.

Was going to try shrooms for the first time this summer or sooner with some close firends but then i found out you can feel nausea. I hate feeling like that shit ahaha i smoked alot of hookah and held it in to long, felt sick to my stomach. And i can imagine shrooms being SO much worse. I know that sounds pussy but i hate feeling nausea.

I've never felt nausea while tripping. I've been with people who have, and they just throw up violently, and then they're fine haha. Just make sure you really chew the mushrooms and grind them down, cause if you swallow them whole you're pretty much guaranteed to throw up because you're body has trouble digesting them, thus why you have to chew dem mugs.

Idk i never chew them up any different than normal food and I've never had a problem with nausea, it just depends on the individual. Shrooms have a lot to do with mindset, so if you think about it and worry too much it will make it worse.

Yeah, it just depends on how well your body handles things. Psilocybin just poisons you, which is what makes you trip. Everyone will react a different way to it. If you just go in positive and be with a few close friends, and in an environment you feel comfortable in, you'll have a great time.

Actually psilocybin isn't what makes you trip. It reacts with the bacteria in your stomach and is converted to psilocin, and that is the chemical that makes you trip. Though we still don't completely understand why exactly.

Shrooms and acid do not compare, they are different drugs.
Nausea is a normal thing that happens to people on shrooms, usually happens when they're kicking in. It does pass, but I've never seen/heard of anyone actualy vomiting from it.
In fact, I wouldn't even call it nausea, just a peculiar stomach feeling.

But then again, different countries, different shrooms. So take that into account.

Anyway, 2c-e, someone prepare me?

That is not true, Shrooms and LSD both target the serotonin receptors in your brain, even though they are different drugs, they both effect your brain in extremely similar ways. I don't want to get really scientific, but the difference of the nature of the trip is when you are on shrooms, you're going to be experiencing things getting droopier, and all the patterns are very natural and smooth, as opposed to LSD where everything is very geometric, and with MY experiences with both, I have found LSD to give me a much clearer mind, I prefer LSD over shrooms, but a lot of people beg to differ. to each his own I guess.

And that's why I'm kinda unsure about LSD. On mushies, you don't really hallucinate, you just see patterns/energy in things (atleast to me). But LSD can show you things that aren't even there, which is a bit nerveracking to me. How would you suggest I prepare for it? I usually meditate before fungus, just to give me some peace of mind. And do you have a certain preference as to where you are while you're tripping?

By Pharms I assume this thread also caters to the prescription drug crowd, right? I've never done anything too heavy, but I've done some low dose percocets and I've had codeine syrup before, shit just makes you feel gooooooood.

That is not true at all.
There are WAY more visuals with shrooms than with LSD.
LSD is more of a mental drug, its effects your thought patterns and the world inside your head, as opposed to shrooms changing the world around you more.
This thread is FULL of fucking misinformation. Pisses meh off.
