1. I don't know, I run QCS not inward. So unfortunately I'm not the right one to answer that question adequately. But I'm pretty sure that they are mostly steel and aluminum.
2. They are molded and heat treated at a special faculty. They are made out of A206 aluminum. After that they go to machining for the final touches.
