Okay so i have 4130 chromoly for some one peices.

Im going to take them to a welder but do you think that he will be able to drill the 7/8 hole on top and cut them?They are already pre cut but im talking about the slits and stuff.

a welder welds, not cuts, so most likely you will have to do it yourself.

I usually just use an angle grinder and cut a slit. There is no need for holes.

i made my one pieces from 4130 chromoly. all u gotta do is use a table saw or a drop saw to cut a 1"-1 1/2" slit
the welder could probly do it for u, im sure hes got plenty of tools like that
