i think they would be sweet but idk about strength, they might have to make all the top pipes(excluding downtube) solid like torn barzzzzz

What are torn barzzzzz? I know of Torn Scooter Pars Bars, but what is a Barzzzzz?

Useless....

I think aluminum Y bars would be sweet. It would have to be VERY thick tubing or solid. Do solid aluminum tubes still weigh less than steel or chromoly?

Yes, by lots, the issue with aluminum is that it dents and breaks very easily (district products), although it can make amazing decks and bars you really have to watch out for your riding and how much stress you put on them.

Oh and that was not useless, excuse me for hating bad grammar as it only makes trying to read through a thread an eyesore. I can contribute perfectly fine if I damn well please but that day is far from now as half the tards on the internet can't spell a damn three letter word anymore

From the District description

"These super light bars are double thick and oversized so will not work with Baby SCS or HIC."

What does than mean in scooter world?

I imagine it would be the same for any Y bar design- does this limit your choices too much?

Everything is a Trade off when dealing with metal and strength.

Aluminum has to be quite thicker to equal the strength of steel- Mild steel or Chromoly.

...but it certain circumstances it is all you need and works perfectly.

So when is someone going to make some Carbon Fiber bars :) it's only money

about the incompatability with baby scs and hic, many people run big scs as well including me so they would still sell.

The only way to make HIC aluminum bars would be in fullsize SCS, which would ruin the HIC-ness, and the purpose. To make them work for HIC you would need to make an even larger clamp, and possible enlargen other things as well for it to work. Thus, reducing our choice when it comes to picking a scooter.
