I disagree. Without the illegals the American people would have the jobs that are being taken by the illegals. The American people would be payed legal wages and would spend that money on products. In return, the people that make the products would continue to make the products, possible expand, and then hire more American people. Our American dollar would soon cease to be nearly worthless.

yeah, because SO many people want jobs doing manual labor on farms. our economy, specifically the southwest, would explode without the illegal immigrants in the work force.

This is true but it's not because we don't have enough Americans to fill their positions, it is because Americans are too proud to get their hands dirty. The youth of America has no work ethic what so ever. Parents train their kids that college is the only way to be successful so they can have a cake office job and good pay but they never support them if they want to be a farmer or teach them that sometimes you have to work your hands to the bone just to scrape by. Back before America was rich and illegals wanted to be here it was Americans working the fields and families had farms... that was when we were an independent nation. Now we are dependant on Chinese imports and foreign labor. We have sold out the very reason that made us a super power to begin with, our independence and that is our own fault, no one elses.

Until the factories and jobs come home, the illegals leave and Americans suck up their pride and really learn how to work again then this country is doomed to fall. This is not America.
