Race won't fit on fork

I just got a cane creek s3 and thom cat and the race from the s3 won't fit right on the fork. What's wrong??

The race should fit with some pounding. It should be a press fit.

Slide the race on the fork then get a metal tube and slide it on the fork and hit the tube on the ground and it should go on.

it doesnt fit .. they make it wrong i had the same fork.. i found an integrated crown race that had like a slit and put it on.. if u have one use it if not try cuttin a slit in ur race

did you try the tube?and if it still doesnt work take it to a bike shop but it should work thats ho i do it.
