Rail Hops

Today I wanna do a rail hop at this spot:

I've wanted to do it for a long time, and yesterday one of my biker friends did it, so now I need to step up. The run in looks suckish, but when you carve in through that opening it puts you at the perfect angle to hop the rail. What advice can y'all give me other than "Hops, bro, hops"?

Jump early!

And aim to jump over the spot that is as high at the rail as the place where you're jumping off of.

Or a slight bit lower. Tuck up. Go fast. It's gonna be scary, but go fast. It was scary as balls the first time I did it.

just go REALLY fast and commit.

you should clear the rail pretty easily from what it looks like. pick the foot wide or so section you are going to hop and then just concentrate on the landing as much or mor than the fact that theres a rail there. it'll help you not bust your heels up on the land cause you're so focused on the rail. you'll probably clear it easier than you think

pretty much, and for chance that you don't clear it, if you're gonna tag jump away/throw your scooter away from you, i'v gotten hung up on rails before and it sucks.

go fast, jump high, then throw the barspin when your right over the rail, and then land with steez
