Ramps?

All depends on what you like to ride. If you're a ledge/manny pad rider, build a 10 inch high, 8 foot long by 4 foot wide box with angle iron on the edges. Wouldn't cost a lot to build either depending on how you build it.

If you're a transition rider, maybe a quarter, or a box jump.

But the mini ramp sounds like a good deal for $100. I can't view the pictures because they are removed, but either way, if the surfacing sucks, plywood and masonite wouldn't cost too much to resurface. Just be sure the coping doesn't stick out too much either.

EDIT: Saw the picture you posted. Looks really narrow. I'd invest in materials to widen it... Basically would only need new coping, more plywood to surface, and 2x4's. You can use the outside plywood for the shape of the quarter, and just add wider 2x4's. Definitely be sure to use wood screws and not nails though if you build something.

get some kind of piece of wood like a plan (or plywood supported by 2 by 4) and have a piece of plywood to ride on to it. Finally, stack it on cinders. I ride a 3 and 1/2 foot ramp all the time when I feel like it, then I take it apart and put it away; I've influenced everyone to do it. It's free, it's efficient, it's convenient, IT'S BETTER
