Rawing FrenchID forks

Im quite shure they are anodised.. am i right?
and im just wondering if oven cleaner would be appropriate to raw them?
Im just worried that it would somehow weaken the glue?

Oh yer and I dont want some kid to come in and say:
oH y3a d00d jU$t d0 1t
legit answers from people who know what they are talking about

i have no idea what would happen to the glue though
so wait till someone who knows what theyre talking about to reply
never seen a raw one before :]

aparntly the fork is glued to the tube.....? coz ther different metals?
correct me if im wrong

they are pressed together also using metal adhesive
dont get me wrong there strong and all..
im just worried about the chemicals doing something to the adhesive to weaken it?

looks FAACKKING AMAZING.

but the one i saw was one before it was etched

yeah i would be worried too
i think it might do something
but not enough to make a difference
i have NO idea though

yeah that's the other issue, its usage on scs. some one should just lock a thread about french id forks, because so many questions are coming up daily, and taking space away from forums.

ya thats what dalton tells me and hes pretty reliable if try taping heavily aroun that area though just incase any way if that parts not raw u wont even see it

If you buy a FrID fork from the SR store it comes pinned to the forktube = no pulling it apart.
