wow your cool

Keep it up and youll see how cool a ban is.
Carson couldve worded that a little differently, but the bottom line is be patient. You dont need to bump this everyday. And when someone tells you something like that, dont make a dumb comment like that last one and make it look like you need to have the last word.

On topic, the other day i was wondering if anyone thinks after market forks for these things will catch on.

companys could have "standered" scooter forks and "oversized" dirt scooter forks, imagine a dirt scooter with Proto Seniors, or Phoenix Phorx.

I have e200 wheels on mine...
I see you say the new tires are rated at 80 PSI? Cuz mine are slow as fuck.
Will I be able to just get the new tires and throw them on mine? Because I have a feeling the reason the tires are rated so low is due to the plastic hub.
So will I need to buy whole new hubs and tires? Or just tires?

i think the front disk brake looks stupid and is unnecessary

If you didn't already know, the Tyres and 'disk' Braking system on the Madd Gear Dirt Scooter are from a Phil&Ted's 'Buggy' Pushchair.

those things are shit!!! i saw one of the MADD team riders like 2 weeks ago and he even said that they've snapped them heaps of times. MADD just want some quick money.

Im not gonna get into it.. But its pretty obvious who is in it for quality.

Look at Phase Two and Rad, both companies have been working their asses off for a few years to make some quality dirt scoots.

I respect when someone spends time on a project and goes an extra step to make sure it makes riders happy, even if it means they will be behind other competitors at launch day.

Madd and a few other companies seem to be trying to take advantage of the interest and some leaked designs to make a quick buck in my personal opinion, but thats just how business goes.

To answer a few questions...

Plastic cores are shit for more than a few reasons lol.
You really ought to use a set of aluminum split hubs Dom.
Ive shattered plastic hubs and got a blowout because it punctured my innertube.

The tire psi threading count is a big part in its speed too, a higher psi will give you more speed.
So you will need new 80psi Tires if you want to get the most speed.
Your best bet for getting hubs is to grab a set off an old E200 scoot, which can be hard to find sometimes.

Forks..

There will be a few aftermarket forks yes, but BMX style forks are perfect for the dirt scoot. 4130 Chromoly tubular forks will more than likely be the most common fork because its super durable and easy to make.

Myself and Danny Rambert still have not bent a single dirt scoot fork.

What about dirt scoots?? they look like they have some very good quality scoots coming out. I think the UK 81 customs scooter brand owns the new company and they look very good, have you seen them snow patrol??

I've seen a Dirt Scoots here in the UK one of the their team riders was doing a demo and I had a chance to quiz him about it and I have to say that the quality is amazing. Beefy forks, 6061 heat treated deck with 6 sections, T45 bars, flex fender .... very well engineered .... apparently their designer developed it over the last few years with Cory Wakeman.

Not to sound like a dick but, thats completely retarded. So when they come out we are all going to be riding matching ugly blue dirt scooters that are all exactly the same.
Guess ill be breaking out the spray paint and spray bombing my brand new $300 dirt scooter.
