i got my pro a while back, and right when i got it i put my old bars (threaded) because they were bolted and were modded to be wide. then a few days ago i looked at my pro bars that came with it and i saw that they were threadless. why would they give people threaded forks and threadless bars?

does this mean that i can just get threadless forks and ics without worrying about threadless bars?

I think the only reason the bars have "threads" are because the bars are made out of aluminum and when you clamp the bars onto the threaded fork and ride the threads on the forks leave an imprint on the bars.
