Razor Pro v.s Razor Ultra Pro?

Hmmm well ive got a razor pro (normal one) and i think its great but i am really interested in the new one

it comes with one piece bars in one? or is it two sizes so the heights might not suit everybody but whatever

no foldy so people who need to make the scooter smaller so they can carry around in a car or bus etc obviously cant anymore but the one piece set up makes the scooter soooo strong =D

P.S has anyone seen the big hole in the deck where the headtube connects? it looks scary

hmm, To me it looks like were the foldy used to be look really weak...

I also ride the normal pro and its a BOMB! :D!

The new 'ultra razor pro' destroys the 1st reason of making a transportable, colapsble, convienient vehicle, it cannot be be folded, the bars cannot be adjusted but yet agian the scootering has evolved to become a fast growing extreme sport and thoose two reasons are making it better for the sport.

Con's: for the 1 piece deck and bars
Can't be adjusted
Harder to change decks (head set and compression < 3 bolts)
Could cause a weak spot

+/-
Bars have to be cut down to suite rides prefered hieght
Headtube angle

Pro's:
no play in the headset
Its set ready to go in the box

im guessing the bars are gonna need to be installed, so it can fit into a reasonable sized box. but thats no problem...

I think a couplte people have rode it, to test it. Someone in the other thread had some pics o where they bent the deck. Anyway, I'm looking forward to it, the deck looks nice because the headtube is double welded and the bars can be cut down easily

who needs to fold there scoter just take off the bars.
And i mean who doesnt bolt there foldy on pros.

As I've said in many threads. There were a lot of changes from the Pro Model to the Ultra Pro.

The Ultra Pro no longer needs the strip of metal down the center of the bottom of the deck. Because the entire deck is that thick, including the drop outs. The forks are now gussetted, as well as thicker threads. One piece bars obviously a perk.
Chances are, after the first batch of Ultra Pro's we may switch to square tubing rather than round for the headtube.

Overall, the Ultra Pro has a lot more of a solid ride. And for $90, it already eliminates half the mods you will need for your scooter. Pretty much all you will want to change. Wheels/bearings, headset, griptape and grips. The rest is solid and taken care of. Unless you like stock parts and foam grips.

the fact that the new deck is one piece has nothing to do with wether the headset will have play or not
