Razor stock headsets..... not again

Well like always, every scooter they send is fucked up anyway from somewhere.

Although we finally got our scooters in november and my grip was a total shit that it ripped off because the edges of the grip were loose. But my friend who got the pro-model too, we took his scooter out in march or april (so late haha?), and bolted the mech. From the beginning we had troubles with the headset, it wont spin and it stops fast, even though the headset was loose. But some days ago we got him a FSA Pig and when he removed the stock headset, he found the reason why didn't the headset spin nicely:

This is the top cup, cup welded onto the little nut as usual. But look at the welding - it is NOT horisontally straight.

Well at least he has a FSA Pig now... http://www.laheidee.ee/pildid/Egoni ProRazor/IMG_0024.JPG

I don't know but at the end of this writing, I'm realising the cup mistake is so little and maybe it doesn't deserve its own thread so sorry who thinks I posted something pointless because we all know that razor parts suck.

sexy the pig is where it is at... but with the first pic u posted all u hav to do is tap it back on and graese the headset up and it should spin alright, better to just keep the pig on though

you didn't understand - the cup is welded wrong, that's why it isn't spinning because it's croocked.

I have never seen one of those bearing shields welded to the nut before... mainly because 90% of them are plastic and the few metal ones I have seen are just stamped and pressed on. Just goes to show you the lack of quality coming out of China.

china suks alround, the cars suk, the ppl suk, the place suks, the scooters they make suk, and u better belive u give 1 of there women a dollar and they will suk to hahaha lol

you could just switch teh nut, and also the stock headsets are loaded with grease so bad it barely spins..so take it out, dont grease it more, use rubbing alcohol or silicone or something to clean them out, THEN regrease them with something not quite as thick

I got myself banned.
My sheild on my pro model is like that too, i had to switch it off because double whips we hard to spin flat it was dragging so badly.
