if a shop gets the parts they will jack the price up way too much...

I want to let you understand why some prices are higher then you maybe like them to see, so do not get me wrong here.

Yeh we understand how you think about prices but try to understand why prices in shops are higher then "do it yourself" stuff.

To make a living and to make sure a brand or shop can excist, you must make a profit....same as you or your dad want to have a salary after a month of working.
Shops need to pay their staff, the rent, electricity etc etc. Besides that they need to buy it in and pay all shippingcosts, customs clearance cost, import duties, keep stock, give service etc etc. And after selling your gouvernment is also asking taxes from each selled item.
All together will make that there is a difference between cost price and retail price........

And yes, we make a margin to live, Andrew does it, SkaterHQ does it.......and?...think its normal....
Ok everybody wants to have their stuff as cheap as possible, I do also.

I know we all as producers try to get the lowest prices to put our products as cheap as possible in the market for you all, but still we also needs to make a living.
And the more you all buy, the cheaper the goods will be in the future.........thats the way the market works...simple

would you not have to pay taxes and import duties if u said that the wheels were for you and not for selling, also you woulnt have to pay staff, rent and electricity if someone sold them instead of a shop

Absolute True...
But then the problem will be that the initial amounts for the producers are to low to get the lower cost prices for the productions.
Also sending 300 or more products at once is for a producer cheaper then sending the same amount to 150 to 300 different persons......
And yes when a private person buys the goods in bigger amounts then he can ask a lower margin because of the lack of some costs.....but then again, is such person capable to reach the same amount of people a a shop?

Hmm.
I know i'm not Andrew, this is just my opinion.
But you are a bit young for it royce. Your only 13 right?
You aren't exactly the most mature kid in the world, and this is going to be a pretty big job. Maintaining a website + business isn't easy, i know first-hand.
You'll have to really consider this before you commit to it, and understand what your getting yourself into.
