Today i was out riding not doing anything like amazing, and my neighbor who is really cool was out with his buddy, so i was talking to this guy and he thinks scooters are amazing and an upcoming big sport. So he was saying that he works pretty high at Red Bull, and that he could put in a really good word for us in houston, what he wants me to do.. is send him a video 5-10 minutes long of any rider who will let me take there old footage and put it into this new video , and then he would pass this video around red bull, and try to get a red bull sponsered competition somewhere in houston with good prizes and just a really good competition, and he wants to try to let the local parks who dont let scooters in let us in, but mainly i am wondering this, i have an 80 gig 2nd harddrive of mainly all scooter videos, i have ALOT, i need a bunch of people, not very good to really good, give me permission to put you in this video, and i was going to put a title for everyone that has your name, this is serious, so please let me know ASAP. thanks.

Whatever you do DO NOT send them a video made of shitty online clips. If people are going to send you footage get the full quality stuff. If anyone at Red Bull actually watches it it will most likely be on a TV.

Good quality + good footage + good music + good editing + VHS/DVD = Good response from Red Bull.

OR

Low quality web video clips + sketchy footage + shitty editing + shitty music + burned CD that can only be watched on certain computers = BAD response from Red Bull... if any at all.

If you are gonna do it then do it right or don't do it at all. A bad video could hurt the sport more then anything. If they are giving you the opportunity you better take FULL advantage of it or let someone else do it that can really put together an awsome video (not saying you can't but that is what needs to be done if this is the real deal).

nah brandon its cool, all the stuff you sent me was amazing, it was perfect, and anyways before the editing, well it sucked, so i decided im going to take my time on it, and i know how im going to edit it and everthing so ill get to it when i get up tommorow, id really like to have clips not pulled from other videos, id really like to have sound in the clips, but if i have too then ill use no sound, i hope kevin sends alot of footy because we need really good stuff in here, you may think that if a comp did happen you might not be able to go or anything so why should i help? , well its helping out the sport so anyone who will help, please IM or PM me, aim is "dan says what" . im shooting for about an 8-10 minutes video or so. itll have probably two songs it, foirst will be . "lynard skynard, simple man" , i can edit really well to that song if i try i think, and the second song could really be anything, maybe "sparta, cataract", or something from the walkmen,
edit- id really like to get some footage from like anyone up in philly/jersey , california, and well its 311 in he morning and i got up at 8 today, so i cant think, but i really want alot.
