how well would steel reinforcements hold up on an already slightly cracked pro? im starting to get nervous

steel reinforcements are mad strong, though on an already cracked deck it should still work fine depending on how big the cracks are.
and i dont know of any strong reinforcements that anyone could do easily.

well i finally did this mod and was happy with the ease of doing it the only problem i had was that after you put them on your scooter your brake bolt doesnt make it far enough past the reinforcement for you to be able to put the nut back on it.but mine kinda threaded onto the reinforcement so hopefully it will hold.. other then this i have done both dibbles way and the sqaure tube way i like the square tube way a lil more but unless you get spacers up inside the tube were the bolts go through, the tube is pretty much gonna collapse there.. all in all ill probly go with this way of doing because it looks better and will probly last longer except for maybe the fact my brake bolt might fall out.?

i drilled halfway through the reinforcement with a 1/2" drill bit and it works fine

no offense or nething but personally i think dibbs idea is better...
the reinforcement on the outside only prevents the droupouts from snapping down, but reduces the chances of the dropouts snapping up....
dibbs on the other hand is on the inside...as a result it not only makes the dropouts stiffer, but where are they going to snap? on the inside...they cant go up OR down...OR left/right....the only problem is its harder to make/install inside....just reasoning...

nvm ....my dad is an engineer and explained everything to me..he said that they should have the same strength...soooo can you post the pics again..they arnt showning for me...imma make some new reinforcements as soon as i can...

my reinforcements are only held in by the tape, it keeps them tight in place. There are holes drilled for axle and brake... but they stay in place.
