Thin and weak and everyone damages them too much b4 there scooter even breaks. And the way i like box reos is so you them grind on them not so they just sit there like the shq ones .
And really? $50? thats just bullshit. You can go to bunings and go buy better ones for 1/4 of the price all you have to do is drill it and it's not that hard.

Billy, what do those strips do anyway?
Just adds more weight?
It's not actually supporting anything..
And it isn't creating more surface area to even out pressure?
So what the hell are those strips doing to help..

Ok Aaron il'l try and explain it just for you.
The main idea of the strips are there to prevent bending which is how scooters snap. And as you can see it is bolted tightly to the scooter and basically becomes part of the scooter thus adding strengh in the areas needed. Also you may notice it is not exactly the thickest metal i am using, the reason is it does not break sideways but its breaks up so it has to bend 2 cm of aluminum which last time i checked it is quite hard to break that much.
If you want anymore info ask me next time you see me or ask Royce the person who made everyone use them because it was proven that it works very well.

Yeah i have admit im running alloy strips atm to, and there seem to be holding up the scooter really well. They do act as great reinforcements.
